HYPick is a site whose goal is to allow you to Hype a Topic in front of “an entirely new audience discussing your topic”.

You can add a new topic about anything you want.  Currently, there are already topics about Obama, Cat in a Bong, The Formula That Killed Wall Street, and A Free Link and Exposure On Your Site.

This site would be a great way to share news, ideas, and fun things you have found online and a great way to give attention to lesser known things online.

You can also use their icon on your site to allow your site visitors to post directly to HYPick from your site.  I will be adding this icon to my site so that everyone can have a chance to post to HYPick about new projects featured here.

The site design of HYPick is beautiful, clean, and easy to use.  I love what they have done with phpBB.  I never thought that a phpBB site would look so nice and having used, installed, and customized phpBB sites I know how much work went into making that software suite look so nice!

HYPick has a very intuitive and clean UI that just about anyone can understand without having to even look at their FAQ.

An Article in National Geographic March 2009 issue points out the need for more information on the important “Jaguar Corridor” through the mountains of Costa Rica. Alan Rabinowitz, a jaguar expert says the migration corridors in Costa Rica are just as important as the breeding areas. “If we write off these in-between areas, we write off our best chance to keep jaguars from going extinct.”

The Florida International Teaching Zoo (FITZ), and Project Green Jungle were already planning a three day excursion in the jungle surrounding the corridor, so it only seemed like a natural step to try to take advantage of our location and see if we could document some cats.

FITZ has been breeding Jaguars for over a decade in captivity with the goal of spreading the word about these Near Threatened Cats, and bringing the public close enough to understand the beauty, and importance of an animal like this. The bloodline FITZ has represented is indeed beautiful. They have historically been one of the very few zoos in the United States that successfully produced the black form of Jaguar.

With the many years of history with captive cats, we are excited take help document wild jaguars. An increased awareness of the jaguar’s migratory path is needed, and the first step is determining where they are. In order to raise money for an infrared camera, FITZ and Green Jungle are doing something that reflects the times. We have set up a Micro-Donation drive. Project Green Jungle

Everyone who has been a seller on EBay know that they have unfair seller feels that get you on the front end and final value feels get you on the back end. It is understood why fees are necessary…to make money. The problem is, the amount of charges are crazy. EBay was a place to get great deals and to be able to sell items at lower prices. But with the rate hike from EBay, it causes sellers to have to raise prices just to make a profit of a few cents. I have held the concept of being able to sell high demand hair goods with the average working woman in mind, which means my profits are very little. EBay eats into that.

So I pondered the thought for a long time…there has to be a better way that is not so costly. Here is where my idea came in. Set up an auction website atmosphere where the cost to sell is very minimal and in addition, allow other businesses to advertise my my site with their banners at a very inexpensive cost.
