Paradise or Bust creator - new project: thenerve.tv

This bloke, then, Mark Bowness. He had the idea for Paradise or Bust in which, as you’ll no doubt remember, a ‘tribe’ of ordinary people create an eco-community in Fiji. Now he’s back with a new idea. Mark is launching “the world’s first crowd-sourced TV production company”, thenerve.tv. It’s a neat idea, but nothing good comes for free… members will pay a £60 annual subscription which pays for access to online forums, regional seminars and hands-on training, while Bowness and his expert team will pitch the submitted ideas to TV channels. If an idea gets taken up by a broadcaster, then the profits will be split 50/50 between thenerve.tv and the creator. He’s a good presenter, but I wish he wouldn’t keep saying he’s a ‘normal, regular guy’. It just makes me suspicious, like the sort of thing a Doctor Who alien would say.
