What are you promoting?

If you are promoting a website, your twitter feed, a blog, an ecommerce site, really anything online you can write your own article about your project on this site.  You will get more traffic, more exposure, and a free link back to your site.

When you are promoting something, the best thing you can do is get the word out anywhere you can.  You want to put links to your site in various places and get people who may not come across your normal channel to find your project.  This will bring people who would never find you to your site.

If you run advertisements or sell a product this means more sales and more $$ returned.  Can’t really beat that!

Whenever you have a website, it is important to get links to your site.  People will follow these links and search engines (like Google) will follow these links too.  This will get you a better ranking and even more exposure for your project/website/etc.
