Codechef- Online Coding Competition

CodeChef, India’s first, ongoing, multi-platform coding competition. The site is aimed at helping students and professionals sharpen their technical skills by participating in monthly competitions, working on practice problems, and discussing specific ways to improve their software development skills. 

Winners of competitions will receive prizes, recognition from the technical community, and invitations to compete in the CodeChef Cup, a twice yearly, in-person event.  We accept solutions in over 35 programming languages (like Haskell, Ruby, Python, PHP, Perl, C, C++, C#, Java, Pascal… ), providing a chance to experiment with new languages.  Our goal is to make CodeChef a community-driven, fun way for students and professionals to improve their programming skills.

Our first contest launches on March 1^st, prizes will an include an Asus Eee PC, a Nokia 5800 touch phone and an iPod Touch.  Register today to compete.

Codechef thus will allow the participant/user  to:

• Compete against their peers
• Get ranked and gain recognition in the developer community
• Hang out with other programmers and coders, and gain valuable knowledge as well as answers to questions
• Improve programming skills in a fun way
